The Peppercorn Restaurant is a casual dining restaurant with an integrated lounge area and full banquet facilities that caters to the community and local businesses. We are proud to provide friendly, personal service in a welcoming environment by staff and owners that truly enjoy their job. Owners Doug and Kristine Penner bring over 30 combined years of experience in the hospitality industry along with a dedication and passion for great service. We are known for our great Carver’s Knife steaks, aged in our coolers before being cut and grilled to order, and our mile high slow baked cheesecakes, made daily in house. We are proud to partner with local suppliers including Carver’s Knife, KUB Bakery, Interlake Potato Farm, Loveday Mushrooms, Wellington Fine Coffee, Derrco Honey Farm. The Peppercorn Restaurant offers take out, banquet facilities, and catering in addition to full table service.

This was our first time at the Peppercorn. We brought our two kids - aged 9.The service was very friendly, our server had us laughing on more than one occasion.The food was generally very good and and very plentiful with large portions. The Spinach Dip was cheese based, was OK, but I was expected a more traditional cream based dip.The steak I had was very good, done as expected, the garlic mashed was tasty, and was happily surprised when the entree was served with beets as the veggie side.Kids menu had what one would expect.Had cheesecake for dessert - it was huge, and pretty good. Share it with the table though, it's huge. One suggestion I would make to the restaurant is to do a sampler platter of each flavour but much smaller pieces.Including two alcoholic beverages, our bill was a reasonable $100.Overall, this night out exceeded our expectations and we will come back again!

This is a nice, quiet, and relaxed ambiance family run restaurant, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the food.They personally know their customers and they want you to come back, which we do.Me and my family come often for dinner.The prices are reasonable, similar or lower than other restaurants.Excellent food and service you will not find in any other place.I recommend coming to the Peppercorn.
